NRA Basic Pistol taught by certified NRA instructor. 8 hour class plus 1 hour for lunch. You will need to provide firearm, ammunition, hearing protection, eye protection along with your lunch and snacks. Class runs from 9:00AM - 6:00PM.
Limited number of firearms available for rental on first come first serve basis FOR USE IN CLASSES ONLY. Pricing dependent on caliber size and ammunition costs. This can only be added with class registration.
Basic Pistol Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety.
Live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor.
Includes Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor.
This class is Timely. Practical. Empowering.
Participants should also bring snacks and water and dress appropriately for the weather, as this training takes place at an outdoor range. There will be no rain cancellation. Extreme weather may require rescheduling of course which is to be determined solely by the instructor.

Participants confirm they meet all course prerequisites, are legally permitted to possess and use a firearm, and accept full responsibility for their equipment and actions during training.
